Well,
This has been a great year for our workshop with a couple of big wins, Darryl for Write About Jesus, and Kate with CMT/NSAI
listeners choice. These wins don't come easy. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work along with a tough hide
from all the rejections that are part of this industry.
There are so many opportunities for everyone to improve their craft and get feedback, find places to pitch to.
Just be connected. Some of the great places to find out such information along with NSAI is song U
http://www.songu.com Also sonicbids
http://www.sonicbids.com .Once you are a member of NSAI, worth every dime of your membership fee, you can access all the teaching which is available
on line. There is also extra teaching at song U. Invest in yourself and it will pay off in the long run.
Remember, it is persperation
along with inspiration.
Don't be afraid to send your work for critique. And don't be offended or hurt when some critique comes back.
This is positive and real advice to make your song closer to the cut. Don't ever feel that your work is not worthy of
comment. And if you don't have a song, it is still a learning experience to listen to the critiques of other songs.
And, please remember, it is a critique, even when your song is great there is always room to reflect. To listen to the winning

Hope to see you all there on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.00p.m.
